Whispers from the Past

For many years I've been researching my ancestors & also for many years I've been intending to one day write a book about them - 'intending' is the operative word here!

My research, both offline & online, has taken me to many far flung places on the globe, mainly while sitting at a film reader winding my way through hundreds of parish records. That was long before so much wonderful information became available on the Internet - and which, to my dismay, has given me eye strain from sitting at a computer for long hours - and still I haven't started my book!

So what better way to start it - as a blog, one day if I don't ever get to publish my book someone else in my family may have the chance.
